May the images on this website bring you some nourishment and a tangible sense of the sacred beauty of Earth.
One way that I care for my heart and soul, in the midst of our collective struggles, is to spend time outside being quiet and receptive with Earth.
Through this practice I have found solace and also wild surprise on a daily basis.
I live on the traditional territory and homelands of the Lekwungen Speaking Peoples, The Esquimalt and Songhees First Nations. I used to live further up-Island in the traditional territory of the Qualicum and Snaw-naw-as First Nations, so many of the images here are also from those Lands.
I am a mother, artist, photographer, dancer, writer, healer, teacher, facilitator, somatic arts therapist, consultant, and educator. My pronouns are she and they. I am a Unilaterally Deaf white bodied gender supple being who is a lover of Earth and Sky, light and shadow, the magic of colour and the magic of poetry that emerges from the Land.
I hold movement based expressive arts cauldrons for personal and cultural transformation rooted in loving, collaboration, and Relational Ecology. Our movements together can be generative and create shared imaginative relaxation and weaving of solidarity. I am interested deeply in this collaborative practice with Beloved Earth, of whom we are one small part with an outsized impact.
